Donnie Yen or his real name is Yen Ji Dan ,born in Guangzhou, Guangdong, Republic of China, June 27, 1963, age 54.He is a film star, director and film producer from Hong Kong. He is famous as a movie star and television actor in Hong Kong. Some of the famous films he starred in were Ip Man series 1 to 3, XXX: Return of Xander Cage, and the recently released Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In Ip Man Movie, Donnie yen plays the character Master Yip who he is the master of Wing Chun. In XXX: Return of Xander Cage Donnie Yen plays the character Xiang. And In Star Wars: The Last Jedi Donnie Yen plays character chirrut imwe. not only that is actually a lot of movies that he played

Donnie has won many wushu tournaments and is considered a figure who popularized the Wing Chun martial style. In recent years, Donnie's popularity has also increased, so in 2009 he was named as the most expensive paid Asian actor in the world. Not only in Wushu and Wing Chun, Donnie also possesses skill in martial arts, ranging from boxing, wrestling, judo, Muay Thai, hapkido, taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, and others.

In his teenage years, Donnie's father sent him to the Beijing Wushu Academy to study Chinese martial arts on Master Wu Bin, also known as Jet Li's trainer. Special, in addition to martial arts, Donnie was also a trained classical pianist. Donnie Yen is master of four languages,that is Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Korean casual. his mother and sister were also a martial artist, perhaps his martial arts skills were derived from his mother. Donnie yen married Zing-Ci Leung in 1993. Their son, Man-Zeok Yen, was born in 1995. From 1995 to 2000, Yen was involved in a relationship with actress Man Yee "Joey" Meng. Yen married Cecilia Wang in Toronto USA in 2003.
